Tango Tango is a trusted RoIP partner on seven major statewide and regional public safety radio systems — and counting. We work alongside system administrators to keep integrations secure, monitored, and aligned with their policies.
For radio system administrators · Bank-grade encryption · Single point of contact
These systems' administrators have evaluated Tango Tango's RoIP integration and approved us to operate on their networks. New systems are added through formal evaluation — talk to us about yours.

Don't see your system here? We work directly with administrators to evaluate and approve new systems.
Start a system evaluation conversation →When we work with a statewide or regional radio system, the system administrator gets a master login that has access to every Tango Tango integration on their network. RoIP becomes an extension of the radio system — not a hidden shadow system on the other side of a gateway.
View all member agencies on your system using Tango Tango — their talkgroups, their user counts, and their active channels in one master view.
Every RoIP gateway is tied to a documented donor radio: department, talkgroup ID, make/model, serial number. You always know which radios are connected.
Approve specific radios and agencies on your system. If a connection ever needs to be cut, we have the information to do it immediately — and so do you.

Some PTT vendors allow — or even encourage — users just plug up RoIP gaeways and figure it out. We don't. Every Tango Tango deployment is set up, tuned, and monitored by us — coordinated with the system administrator in accordance with whatever policy you define.
We notify on every new gateway and respect the approval workflow you've defined. You might want to approve each & every gateway, just be notified, or something in-between.
Each gateway is anchored to an approved physical site already broadcasting the talkgroup — no surprise system loading from gateways popping up where they shouldn't.
We can enforce per-agency user limits — typically capped to the number of radios on your system or some other number that you define. No system-loading surprises from off-network phones.
A dedicated Tango Tango contact who knows your system. Available nights and weekends when something needs attention — not a ticket queue.

When statewide system administrators evaluate RoIP vendors, these are the questions they ask — and the answers that get us approved.
Our software is written in the USA. We're not a foreign code base wearing an American label — and we'll happily walk through what that means for your security posture.
Every call, every message — encrypted on every leg. We're upfront about exactly what we are (and aren't) certified for, so admins don't get surprises in policy review.
Over 1,000 RoIP deployments across P25, UHF, VHF, DMR, LTR, and 700/800 MHz systems. We've seen the edge cases and we know how to integrate quietly and reliably.
A dedicated person assigned to your system — not a rotating support pool. Real relationships are how RoIP integrations stay healthy long-term.
Real questions we hear from radio system administrators evaluating Tango Tango. Clear answers — no marketing fluff.
How does Tango Tango get approved on a new statewide system?
It's a conversation, not a procurement form. We meet with the system administrator and walk through their existing RoIP policy (or help build one), explain how we deploy, demonstrate the Super Admin oversight tools, and answer any security questionnaire. Most evaluations take a few weeks, sometimes faster if the admin already has a policy in place.
Will Tango Tango add load to our radio system?
Not when it's deployed thoughtfully. We tie each gateway to an approved fixed site that's already broadcasting the talkgroup, and we can cap subscribers per agency to match the existing radio count. On systems following these practices, we have yet to see noticeable system loading from RoIP.
What if a member agency tries to set up RoIP without approval?
When we sell to an agency on an approved system, we coordinate with the system admin before activating any gateway. The Super Admin Console gives you visibility to spot anything unauthorized — and we can disable a gateway or individual user immediately if needed.
What radio types and protocols do you support?
P25, UHF, VHF, DMR, MOTOTRBO, NEXEDGE, LTR, conventional, and simplex — anywhere from 700/800 MHz down. RoIP is the most flexible bridge between dissimilar systems, which is why it's our specialty for cross-system interoperability.
What if my system isn't on the approved list above?
First, we'd love to talk with your system admin about getting explicit approval through an approved policy. However, the majority of radio systems in deployment don't have a RoIP policy and are neutral/unofficially supportive on the topic. There are a small handful of systems that explicitly ban RoIP. If you are on one of these systems, we will let you know when we discuss your radio integration options.
Do you provide audit-ready records?
Yes. The Super Admin Console gives you participating agencies, their LTE user counts, talkgroup info, and donor radio details (department, talkgroup ID, make/model, serial). Activity reports run on a recurring schedule and are exportable.
Trusted by those who protect
Tango Tango Interoperability is a must in rural Georgia. Many cases cross jurisdictional boundaries and we all have different radio systems. We've greatly improved response and officer safety. We can communicate in a minute's notice.
