Turn every staff phone into a radio. Reach teachers, custodians, bus drivers, and front office across every building — on one network, with no per-user charge.

Four situations we hear about from principals, district IT leaders, and safety coordinators — and how Tango Tango fits.
Use cellular or WiFi to cover gaps in your radio coverage — schools, large buildings, or rural stretches.
Stay on comms without lugging a radio around. Monitor traffic en route to work or after-hours callouts.
Mutual aid across different radio systems. Sheriff in the next county gets on your channel in a minute.
When the radio tower goes down, keep talking. A second network that doesn't share failure modes with LMR.

Teachers, custodians, front office, bus drivers, subs, coaches, maintenance — all on the same push-to-talk network, with no per-user fee to hold you back.
Add every adult in your district. No seat counting, no bracket jumps when you hire in August.
iOS, Android, and web. Issue LTE handhelds to custodians, bus drivers, and maintenance staff who don't carry phones.
Per-campus channels, athletics, transportation, front office — switch between them in one tap.

Route lockdown triggers, Raptor alerts, and dispatch messages straight to every staff phone — with a text summary and a one-tap link to details.
Raptor and other alert systems — if it can send email, we can turn it into a push alert to every device.
During an alert, seconds count. With push-to-talk, there's no pecking out a text message, hold one PTT button and talk to everyone on campus.
Channels can be recorded. Replay the call during debrief, training, or incident review.

Comms don't stop at the school doors. Reach a field trip, a bus route, or a responding officer on the same system you use every day.
Bus drivers stay on-channel anywhere there's cellular — no more "out of radio range" on a field trip or a long route.
A school principal on a phone can talk to bus drivers on LTE Radios and SROs on public safety radios.
Bridge in a local agency during an incident — even if they're not Tango Tango users, add them in seconds.

Tango Tango Interoperability is a must in rural Georgia. Many cases cross jurisdictional boundaries and we all have different radio systems. We've greatly improved response and officer safety. We can communicate in a minute's notice.

Straight answers to what tech directors, principals, and safety coordinators ask before they try us.
Is Tango Tango FERPA compliant?
Push-to-talk traffic doesn't contain student records the way a student information system does, but we treat every call with bank-grade encryption and handle optional recordings with the same care. Talk to us first and we'll walk through what fits your district's policy.
Do we still need our existing radio system?
Most schools find they can reduce or retire their radio fleet after rolling out Tango Tango. If you want to keep radios in specific roles, our Radio Integration kit connects them to the app so everyone is on the same talkgroup.
How fast can we roll this out — before the school year starts?
Days, not months. Admin setup is an afternoon. Teacher and staff onboarding fits into a single in-service session — the app is as simple to use as a phone.
Can we record channels for incident review?
Yes, optionally. Recording can be enabled per-channel. Retention is 30 days by default, upgradable to 365 days. You control who can access recordings.
What happens when a staff member leaves or loses a phone?
Revoke access from the admin portal in seconds — they're off the channel immediately. No seat refund issues, because there's no per-user cost; removing them is a safety measure, not a billing event.
Can we pay with E-Rate, Title IV, or safety grants?
Tango Tango has been purchased with a mix of funding sources across districts. We're not a grant-writing service, but we'll share what other schools have used and help match Tango Tango to a program that fits your budget cycle.
These stories come from teams using every part of Tango Tango. Here's what they're working with.
