How does someone declare an emergency?
Tap the on-screen emergency button four times quickly, or press the emergency button on a supported Bluetooth device like the AINA Voice Responder.
Who receives the alert?
The users you add to your emergency alert feed, in the app and the admin portal. Use Groups to send different users' emergencies to different teams.
Will it sound if a phone is on silent?
Yes, with Notify in Do Not Disturb turned on. If a push-to-talk call is active, the alert tone pauses so the call can be heard.
How is an emergency ended?
The person who declared it, or any admin portal user, can clear it for everyone. Any user can silence the tone on their own device.
Do responders see the caller's location?
Yes, as long as the caller allowed Tango Tango to use location on their device, which is normally done at install.
Does this cost extra?
No. Emergency Alerts are included on every plan. If someone needs help, they should be able to ask for it, whatever plan you're on. Just update to app version 4.1 or later.
