Is Tango Tango CJIS-compliant?
We use bank-grade encryption on every call, message, and alert, and follow CJIS-aware security practices. We are not formally CJIS-certified as a service — if your agency requires a certified provider, talk to us first and we'll walk through what fits your policy.
Does it replace our P25 or VHF system?
No — it extends it. Most agencies keep their LMR for in-vehicle and primary patrol, and use Tango Tango for off-duty, dead zones, tactical channels, and mutual aid. Some rural agencies do go phone-only, but that's a choice, not a requirement.
How fast can we roll it out?
Agency-wide in days. There's no RF engineering, no FCC licensing, no install truck. Create channels in the portal, point deputies to the app store, and you're on the air that shift.
Can we record radio traffic for evidentiary use?
