Tango Tango version 4.0 is our biggest release yet. Today we’re covering tab customization. This lets you tailor the bottom menu of the main screen of the Tango Tango app so that the screens that matter most to you are always one tap away.
How it Works
To get started, you'll tap More in the bottom right corner of the app. Under the Features section, tap Customize Tabs. On the Customize Tabs screen, you'll be able to choose 4 tabs for your main screen menu from 6 choices: Channels, Chat, Contacts, Map, Alerts (new), and Recordings (new). The 2 unused features will be accessible by tapping "More" in the bottom right corner rather than from the bottom menu.
New Menu options
- Alerts - This is where in-app CAD Alerts are viewable in version 4.0. Check out the Alerts post for more on this feature.
- Recordings - Recordings have always been in the app, tucked inside the Chat tab - but many of you asked for a faster way to get to them. Now you can pin Recordings directly to your toolbar and jump straight there.
Detailed Walkthrough of the Customize Tabs screen
While in the Customize Tabs screen, you’ll see a Preview of how your bottom toolbar will look and a list of every available feature. To rearrange, press and hold the handle on the right side of any menu item and drag it above More to pin it to your toolbar, or drag it below More to move it out of the way. You need at least one feature in the toolbar. See the video walkthrough for screenshots.
When you’ve got things the way you want them, just tap Save in the top right corner. Your new toolbar takes effect immediately.
